We come from a family that values all things food: our best conversations always have a way of happening around the kitchen island as we collaborate on new recipe ideas. Whether it’s a big family dinner or happy hour snack while catching up, the food has always been as nourishing as the company. As sisters we believe that a healthy lifestyle leads to healthy relationships, both with yourself and with others. We’re excited to share this adventure with you.
Ellie’s journey to becoming a registered dietitian stemmed from her love of cooking, exploring new food, and her belief in food-as-medicine: a way to regulate hormones and metabolism, reverse symptoms of chronic disease, increase energy, and enhance mood. She is NYU educated and completed her clinical rotation through Tulane University.
Donna has always been the resident “shoulder-to-cry-on” in the family. With a little push from Ellie and her husband, Guy, she took her natural talent further by becoming educated in the art of strengths-based health coaching through the American Council on Exercise as well as a certified health coach from the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute. She also practices and teaches mindful eating techniques and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
As sisters and best friends, we’ve supported each other our whole lives. We treat our clients as if they were family, too.
